Students attend Leaderhip and Ethics Conference

Several DASD high school students attended the Fall 2016 Leadership & Ethics Conference (L&EC) for High school Juniors.   The Conference was held at the Valley Forge Military Academy & College.  The conference is intended for student leaders who are interesed in discussing moral and ethical challenges as they relate to their own lives, other students and members of their communities. 

The goal of the program is to challenge Students to:

 Think critically about relevant ethical topics;

 Examine values of Honor, Respect and Leadership;

 Share learned values with Others;

 Prepare them to be Leaders of Character in their High Schools and Communities.

Science Curriculum Leader K-12 George Tucker attended the program with the six students  "The students were highly engaged and valued participants at the conference.  They demonstrated impressive student literacy, historical perspective and social tact.
