Two DHS seniors earn a perfect score on the ACT
Two DASD students have scored a perfect 26 on their ACT college entrance exams. Victoria Pan, a senior at DHS East, and Rachana Mudipalli, a senior at the Downingtown STEM Academy earned the perfect compsite score of 36. According to the ACT, of the almost 2,000,000 students who take the ACT only 1000 test-takers earn a perfect score.
The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1-36. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores. Some students also take the optional ACT writing test, but the score for that test is reported separately and is not included within the ACT composite score.
