117 Downingtown East High School Students Recognized as AP Scholars:

The AP Program offers several AP Scholar Awards to recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. This achievement is acknowledged on any score report that is sent to colleges the following fall. Notifications about AP Scholar Awards are sent to students and schools in September of each year.  To qualify as an AP Scholar, students must receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.  In addition, students can achieve additional recognition for higher performance.  17 students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honor, 46 students as AP Scholars with Distinction, 1 student as Pennsylvania's State AP Scholar, and 19 students were recognized as National AP Scholars.  (Names will be posted soon)
