Jonathan Ross has been proud to be the principal of Lionville Middle School since 2010. He began his career in public education in 1992 as a middle school learning support teacher. In 2001, his professional dreams were realized when he became a middle school principal. Throughout his career he has been blessed to work with so many talented and passionate educators who all played a part in Mr. Ross being named the 2009 PAESSP National Distinguished Principal for Middle School. It was soon after this, in 2010, that he was appointed principal of Lionville Middle School.
During his time at LMS, Mr. Ross has been constantly impressed by the positive attitude and strong work ethic of the students who brighten the halls each day. He feels fortunate to have the opportunity to work side by side with such an outstanding and dedicated group of staff members who consistently go the extra mile in order to make a difference in the lives of children. Mr. Ross also genuinely appreciates the overwhelming support that LMS receives form the parents and community as a whole.
Mr. Ross is not only living out his professional dreams, he and his wife are the proud parents of three children (Natalie, Cameron and Elli) who serve as his greatest motivation and inspiration. He is looking forward to continuing to serve the Downingtown community and continuing the outstanding tradition of excellence at Lionville Middle School.
